Another win for Mr. James Alexander! I have all of his books, and I think this new one and the last one are my favorite. This one is more whimsical and 'doodly', cute little creatures, some dinosaurs, some monsters, all sorts of cute little characters. Again, the designs are simple enough to allow for relaxed coloring (not so detailed that it takes a month to finish one picture, but with enough going on to still be interesting). Most regular markers will work fine, I even use some standard crayola markers (the fat ones) and typically they work fine. Sharpies, Bic mark-it, crayola supertips, it's nice to be able to use regular markers, you don't have to drop a bunch of money on ultra fine tips to color in his books.This book also has his black paper that he's quickly becoming known for. It's smooth, generally doesn't bleed, though you will want a blotter page under the one you're working on. He also includes a test page at the front of the book, so you can see how your pens or pencils react to his paper. You can tell he really puts a lot of thought and effort into making his books nice and a good quality, and that's not even speaking on the artwork, which is fun and enjoyable to color, as can be expected with James Alexander. He consistently puts out quality work, and they continue to get better and better. I look forward to the next one!Thanks for another great book, keep up the good work!
I love everything about this coloring book....except...it doesn't have perforated pages! ARGH! I made my masterpiece, then ruined it by trying to r remove it from the book to give to a friend.
This coloring book is great. However, the pics posted by other reviewers are showing a completely different book. I was disappointed when I opened the book to find completely different pictures and words inside. So when ordering, be aware you are not getting what the other reviewers got. This is more of a mandala design with cursive cuss words. Not as humorous as the one I was expecting but still a nice book.
Bought this for a ladies' margarita and coloring night. Great designs on black paper, some on white- fun but not too intricate. Each of the 40 designs has it's own sheet (design on front, plain back on back) of decent thickness so you can cut them out of the book to hang, or share in a group coloring night. One review said the interior was not as shown in the customer photos, more like mandalas. There is a similarly titled coloring book that fits that description. But the one on this page arrived correct as shown. I added some images of the interior. I recommend this product!
I have found that James Alexander adult coloring books have the best of quality. I've bought books from other authors. James' books are the best quality of all. The paper is smooth, thick and soft,no bleed through. Such a pleasure to color in! His prices are affordable. And if you sign up for his newsletters he announces his new releases, and offers his books at a HUGE discount! And he offers Freebies to color, or to hand out to your friends! Highly recommend James Alexander books!

I just couldn't bring myself to spend the money. So when i saw it was on sale i had to jump on it. He's brilliant. Can't wait to start!
I love to color. I love to color anything. But I've never had such fun as coloring in a true adult book. Not only is it fun to go through a pick what to color but talk about a fun way to release anger and stress. But the real fun for me with this book is other people's reactions. Everyone who sees mine wants one!

It's a excellent way to relieve stress and express your frustration quietly by coloring swear words. I definitely will be looking for his new book, coming soon. Well worth buying.
