I have been practicing as a Master’s prepared RN for many years, and as of the last year, I have taken on a new role, performing as a CM within an Integrated Case Management model. The study guide was recommended by other colleagues, and has been of significant assistance in preparing my successful transition. Due to the fundamental aspects of CM, outlined in the study guide, I have learned key concepts of performing my expected functions/duties, in an astute manner. I remain with a great deal to learn but feel confident in the knowledge that I have obtained thus far, and embellishment of my CM practice now, and into the future.

The biggest challenge for me was adjusting to how the questions are worded, so this book was nice in that regard. I used several study guides and still felt like most questions on that test had little to do with what was actually studied, so I'm not sure what the best guide is out there. Probably the practice test directly from the CCMC website.

The font is very very small, the pages are crammed with material, and there are obvious errors throughout the book. I took my CCM in December and passed, but this book was a hard read. I did enjoy the practice tests and practice questions though. For reference, I am an RN.

This book helped me prepare for my CCM certification exam. It did the trick, I passed on the 1st try. Had pertinent information in it. I liked the way the book was organized.

I like this review book it has a lot of relevant information and review questions.

The study guide is easy reading and not wordy. I like the practice test and the explanation of answers after each section of the guide.

It has clear easy to understand information but it may need more details on topics like vocational rehab. There is also a tiny error on page 94 the last number is missing on question #47. Â

This guide is organized in a way that is easily understood and progresses in a way that one can understand the steps in assessing a case from the beginning to end. The format also relates to the questions for easy reading and understanding. The organization also increases confidence in the presentation and one can focus on areas where knowledge is lacking.

This was the first volume in this well done middle grade fantasy graphic novel series. The illustration is unique and beautiful and the story is engaging. I really enjoyed it and would recommend to those who enjoy beautiful and deliberate fantasy graphic novel.sThe story is about a young pig (named Pig) who keeps the windmills running on the border of Sunrise Valley to push back a deadly black fog. When Pig’s dad ventures into the fog and dies, Pig is left on his own to protect the town. However Pig is very misunderstood at school and only his friend Fox makes things better. When Pig realizes the pattern of the black fog is changing: Pig, Fox, and Hippo end up on an accidental adventure.I loved the soft and beautiful illustration throughout the story; it’s easy to follow and fun to look at. The story was imaginative and well done as well. I think my only complaint would be that things move a bit slow. My 11 year old son wasn’t a huge fan of this graphic novel; he said it was too creepy and moved to slow.Overall this was a beautiful and magical story set in a fantasy world of talking animals and deadly black fog. This is just the beginning of the story but I enjoyed it. My 11 year old was not a fan, so this may be something adults enjoy more than kids.

The Dam Keepe Grphic Novel is a beautifully and delicately drawn and painted book. We are an animation instructors at a community college and parents of two little boys. As I was reading this book out loud to my kids my boys seem to pay a full attention with lots of different faces they make including the face wirh full of joy. Artistically speaking, a beautiful and poetic rendering approach with a looseness in the (digital) brush strokes, the book takes the viewers to a charming brave and trust-worthy world that the characters show through the breathtaking journey. I highly recommend this book to anyone that wants to study art and filmmaking composition and color as well as to parenets who have children. Can't wait for further books by/from Tonko House.

I was a fan of the original short film this book is a sequel to. The change in medium did nothing to lose the magic of the original. The beautiful artwork brings the fantastical story and characters to life. The only issue I have is that pages 93-108 are printed twice. I don't know if this just my copy or an issue with all copies. However, this wasn't enough of an issue to lower the rating. I highly recommend this and can't wait for the next book!

Robert Kondo, Dice Tsutsumi and all of Tonko House never cease to inspire me. I happened to watch The Dam Keeper short when it was released on Amazon, and ended up taking a course from them on Schoolism.com a few months later. These guys are so skilled and feel so genuine; they are artists who want to create beautiful works and compelling stories. That is just what you'll find in this first book.Physical:The book quality itself surprised me: It's hard cover with a lovely, textured book cover, quality pages that look and feel great, and it's bigger in size than I thought it would be.Artwork:The page layouts are dynamic, and the book is easy to read/follow overall. The artwork is the signature quality of the Tonko House we know and love from the short film, with added expressive qualities that come with the comic format.Overall:I recommend watching The Dam Keeper short film before reading this, as I feel it will make the experience far better, and might save some confusion? I throughly enjoyed getting to know Fox and Pig better, and being introduced to Hippo and other characters; I also can't wait to get more of a glimpse into Pig's backstory.I'm so happy that Robert and Dice have given us the opportunity to fall in love with their characters all over again! Absolutely stunning book! Every frame was painted delicately and you just can't help enjoying every beautiful lighting in every shots. It's magical, and it looks so real that you can almost feel the heat, the coldness, or the strong wind in their painting. With strong story telling, Dice and Robert created a believable world for readers to have adventure with Pig, Fox, and Hippo. It's not only visually appealing to kids, but as an adult I enjoy the story and art very very much. If you already watch The Dam Keeper animated short, this book carries the quality of that beautiful film. Moreover, the story continues and becoming more intense throughout the journey.I highly recommend this graphic novel to those people who love stories, art, and to those who purely love beautiful things. I can't wait to know more about the story and continue my adventure with those lovable characters!

The art of Kiyoshi Saito takes us into a modest Japanese village, rows of traditional woodframe houses separated by persimmon trees and flower gardens. Saito (Japanese, 19071997) was born in Aizu, where little had changed as the rest of the nation underwent rapid modernization. A craving for this sort of tradition, wedded to a powerful creative impulse, led the young artist to leave his sign-making business and devote his life to art. He learned oil painting, but before long he gave it up in favor of printmaking. Working with unconventional tools, determined to master all steps of a craft commonly divided among drafting, carving, and printing specialists, and unfamiliar with the practice of color separation, Saito began making his one-of-a-kind prints. Masterful Images: The Art of Kiyoshi Saito presents the story of this idiosyncratic artist's ascent to international success, as the American officers returning from postwar Japan brought with them prints and praise for an artist whose rustic work possessed an immediacy far from the refinement of a Hiroshige or Hokusai. Wonderful book of wonderful prints. Great reproductions, and gives you a great overview of his career.

Good survey of the work of a master.

It's great to have an affordable collection of Saito's prints. So good to see many of them in color. I'd like to see a somewhat more extensive collection, still in the affordable range, including more of the animals, especially the famous cats, and some prints from his time in Paris. This series of books is one of our LO's favorite. He'll cycle through handing me the Eye Book, Nose Book and the Ear Book and stay engaged through the whole thing. Fun book to read with your LO. I plan to add the Foot Book soon as well as others.

My great nephew loved it. Just like my grandchildren did. It makes it easy for kids to point and learn to say a word. I'm sure I'll buy more of this particular book, as another niece is expecting, and I wouldn't want her to be without it when she starts reading to the baby.

Great little book! Perfect for bedtime reading and compact enough to travel with. We've been reading this book to our daughter since she was under 1. She's almost 2.5 now and still loves it.

Fun book for 1.5 y/o. She enjoys the rhyme and repetition. Minus one star for "pink eye, pink eye." There are so many better adjectives that could have been used!!
